Weddings

Flexibility Band members understand that often weddings don't run exactly as planned so they are very flexible, moving sets around to accommodate last minute changes and adapting play lists on the night to better suit you and your guests.  They also welcome your input, in advance, into the sort of songs you'd like to have included (or excluded) and will tailor what they do, as far as they possibly can, to incorporate your wishes. Set up Sahara usually arrive, set up and sound check in about an hour after you've finished your meal and speeches (or during your meal if they can set up in a separate area).  They then leave suitable background music playing for your guests whilst they quickly get changed ready to start with your first dance.  They can be booked for early setups, if necessary, please enquire for further details and charges.  Playing time Sahara typically play 3 x 40 mins or 2 x 60 mins sets of live party music from across a wide variety of decades and genres, generally suiting an audience of mixed taste and age range.  Once they have a 'feel' for the crowd, they will usually tailor the sets accordingly.

First dance

Sahara can provide an up-to-date list of songs they currently play that may be suitable for your first dance (for ideas, if nothing else).  If there's nothing you fancy on this list, they're very happy to learn something special for you and ask for a minimum of 8 weeks notice to allow enough time to write the parts and schedule rehearsals.  Alternatively, they're also very happy to play a special song on CD for you.

Arrival drinks

Sahara can also provide various options for your arrival drinks, including their smooth jazz trio (piano, bass and jazz guitar).  Please enquire for further options and pricing.
